- Subject and method of processing
The collection of personal data takes place only with your express consent during the order. Your data will be used only and exclusively to complete the order of the requested service/product. When the contract is concluded and after the purchase price has been paid in full, the processing of your data will be blocked and these will be deleted after the expiry of the retention period in accordance with commercial and tax law, unless you have agreed to further use of your data.
Walbike Srl is the owner of the e-commerce site www.walbike.com (“Site”) and is the counterparty of the purchase contracts concluded through the Site.
To make purchases through the Site, registration on the Site is required, which involves the activation of a reserved personal area on the Site called “My Account” (“Create an Account”).
Through the reserved area of the Site called “My Account”, the logged in user can carry out, among other things:
- general activities (e.g. modifying the personal data provided;
- activities related to any purchases on the Site (e.g.: consulting the history of orders and returns; managing delivery and billing addresses; exercising the right of withdrawal).
Through the website www.walbike.com it therefore carries out a variety of services (“Site Services”) and, in particular:
- services related to Registration on the Site;
- services related to the offer and sale of products via the Site;
This information is therefore provided with reference to all the Services of the Site and, therefore, to the processing carried out by Walbike Srl as data controller:
- in relation to Registration on the Site, including access to and navigation on the Site;
- in relation to purchases on the Site;
- in relation to the request for assistance and customer care services concerning the Site Services;
- with the express consent of the interested party, in relation to the pursuit of the marketing and/or profiling purposes better described below.
- Purpose and legal basis of the processing
We process your personal data only in the presence of one of the conditions provided for by current legislation, and specifically:
a) for the conclusion and execution of a contract to which you are a party or for the execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at your request.
When we process your data for the conclusion and execution of a contract to which you are a party, we take care to use only the minimum information necessary. This basis legitimises the processing of personal data that occurs in the following activities:
- conclusion and execution of a purchase contract for the products or services offered on the site https://www.walbike.com/;
- registration on the Site and use of services reserved for registered users;
- management of your requests by our Customer Service.
The provision of your personal data for these activities is a contractual obligation. You are free to communicate your data to us or not, but in the absence of the requested data it will not be possible for us to conclude or execute the contract and your requests. This means that you will not be able to purchase the products and you will not be able to use the services of Walbike and we will not be able to manage your requests;
b) to comply with a legal obligation.
In the event of the conclusion of a contract for the purchase of goods or services on www.walbike.com, the processing of the user's data will take place to comply with the legal obligations to which we are bound in accordance with the tax provisions and other regulations to which Walbike Srl is subject. You are free to decide whether to conclude a contract and whether or not to communicate your data to us, but if you conclude it, your data will be necessary and will be processed to comply with the aforementioned legal obligations to which we are bound.
c) for our legitimate interest.
Your personal data may be processed to prevent and prosecute any fraudulent, counterfeiting or abusive activities (including by third parties) in conflict with current regulations, the contractual provisions applicable to the Site and related services, and the rules of fairness and good faith.

We also receive personal and financial information from payment service providers as part of any legally required identity verification.
If you have not given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, the legal basis for the transmission of data to payment service providers in the context of contract execution is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR, since the processing is necessary for the execution of the contract and the processing of the order.

- Communication of personal data to third parties
In the case of parcel and shipment deliveries, we will communicate your name, address, telephone number and email address to the transport service providers with whom we collaborate by virtue of the contract, and, if necessary, to the order processors, so that they can process the delivery and contact you to announce and coordinate the delivery. the purposes indicated in this notice, your personal data may be communicated to other companies controlled by the Data Controller or to third parties who operate in collaboration with the Data Controller in the provision of services, duly appointed as data processors or processors. - Duration of treatment
We will delete all above-mentioned data at the latest after the expiry of the legal warranty period, unless applicable law provides for an obligation or right to further storage of data.
For payment processing, we will pass on your payment data to the credit institution commissioned or the payment service selected during the ordering process.
